lesser-flamingo2The country's dramatically diverse geography has resulted in an enormous range of natural habitats, making Kenya one of the natural wonders of the world. A land of endless potential for the wildlife enthusiast. From great migratory herds of the open savannah to an incredible abundance of birdlife, from the depths of a tropical rainforest to the depths of the Indian Ocean teeming with fish, Kenya truly is a world of natural wonders.

It holds some of the most remarkable birding sights, with such spectacles a must see experience! You can find the world’s biggest bird, the Ostrich, but also we will see spectacular flamingos that congregate in their millions at the various Lakes of the Great Rift Valley, painting them pink.

Special CommentIt goes without saying that all our accommodation is of the usual very high standard as all Worldwide Birding Tours. This tour is relaxed and recommended if comfort and easy pace is required.

black-bellied-bustardWith eleven percent of the world’s species – some 1089 different varieties, Kenya’s birding is one of the best in the world. It is not unusual to record 300-600 different varieties on a short trip or to record more than 120 at a particular site in a single day! The variety of birds in Kenya is made possible by the favourable climate, diverse habitats and geographical features, that make it a suitable migratory route for birds. Our tour has been organised to cover some of the best birding areas and aims to visit a large range of habitats. Besides bird watching we will also pay attention to game-viewing in general. Most places do have fabulous possibilities. Kenya offers more than 400 mammal species.
All our guests always have regular options, either join-in with the tour group birding/game viewing or opt-out and enjoy your own company. You, the client, have choices unlike with so many other group tours!
Take a look around. We have put all the interesting information together on a single page. Enjoy our impressions of Kenya with a selection of fine bird and wildlife photos. You can read our latest Trip Report to give you an idea of what is awaiting you. You will find all you want to know about our Itinerary, a tour map and of course practical facts and travel tips.
The price we have arranged is really very competitive. You will not find another Kenyan tour with a similar itinerary and including the same quality accommodation for this great value price.

Reserving your place is both easy and inexpensive!
